Integral Handled Santoku Inspired Chef Knife
This Santoku-inspired chef knife features a 7.75" blade forged with a Damascus core with a cladding of 80CrV2 and 15N20. The result is a clean, functional kitchen knife with subtle patterning throughout the blade and handle.
The fully integral handle was forged as part of the blade itself, then carefully fullered to reduce weight while maintaining balance and strength. The forged construction gives the knife a seamless flow from blade to handle while preserving the solid feel that integral knives are known for.
Created as a collaboration between P. Harp Designs and Charlie Bridges of Broken Anvil Knifeworks, this piece represents the combined effort of two makers and showcases techniques that are rarely seen in modern kitchen knives. One of only two pieces made.
